I've been struggling with this for a while, including the limited number of genres and not being able to search by language. I've been keeping the IMDB site open in my browser right next to lookmovie and using IMDB for the searches and keeping my watchlist. When I add something to my watchlist that isn't on this site, I request it here in this forum.
