Thug101 "Malum" is a re-interpretation of "Last Shift," made by the same director, so they're basically the same movie, made a decade apart by the same guy, but he was given a bigger budget the 2nd time around. I feel like there are subtle differences between the two, but other folks have said its just a shot-by-shot waste of time. I enjoyed both.
I have Letterboxd, and I love reviewing stuff there, and looking back there, I did see "Housebound," but I didn't rate or review it at the time. I'll have to go back and give it a re-watch. Horror-comedy is a really slippery slope, I agree, and there are very few I've liked enough to re-watch. It has to be really done well or not at all, IMO. Shudder is kind of a mixed bag for me--it seems like their stuff is either really good or really bad. Screambox is another pretty good service.
Take Care, and have a great weekend!
