I've been using Lookmovie for quite a while and have surmised that what they do is collect all the requests for the player (slider preview, move the pause button further from the slider, remember which subtitle you were using on a page refresh, subtitle voting so that future watchers know which subtitles are best, etc....), analyze what gets requested the most, what is easy/difficult to implement, etc... and then have the developers revise the player all at once. They did a refresh of the player not too long ago, and have been working on a download feature for quite a while, so the player probably won't be revised in the near future.
Yeah, the player isn't perfect, but it's pretty good when compared to similar sites (dramaacool.ru, effedupmovies.com, movieparadise.org, tdrama.net, etc...) Actually, Lookmovie is better than all of them in my opinion. The only sites that they are really behind are the big global brands like Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Google, Vimeo, etc....
But I think think it's valuable to request changes that you want so that it will make it onto the list for consideration on the next refresh.
The biggest problem with the player for me is accidentally hitting the slider when trying to pause the movie. 😅
