YMMV, of course, but it's been my experience here that, at least in most cases, there aren't many users who wait a year or more to follow up on something they're anxious to watch. Whenever there are issues like missing episodes, or a mix up in episode flow or a duplicate, or any number of things that can go out of whack when dealing with peer provided torrents, the requestor brings it to the forum's attention and it's addressed relatively quickly.
What's engaging about LM is that every user's requests feed the overall content, and since each person requesting something really wants to see what they're requesting, they sort of become the "gatekeepers" of their own content. They follow up on their own requests because they're personally invested in what they want to see. When you've got one or just a few people tracking down a multitude of users' requests, as is the case with LM, it becomes almost imperative that those users follow up on what's important to them, or else otherwise it might fall through the cracks.
I've found that most users here bring up issues promptly, and that those issues are resolved as quickly as possible, but a lot of the follow-up does depend on users' diligence in reinforcing their requests when necessary.
I guess my question to you would be, why did you wait 15 months to follow up on something that you really wanted to watch?
